67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE between Grove Street and 88th Street begins on August 12, managed by Bayshore Construction. The project aims to replace pedestrian ADA ramps and overlay the roadway with new pavement. The first phase will involve a full closure of the southbound lane for ADA ramp demolition, with one lane open in each direction. In mid-September, the northbound lane will close for grinding and pavement repairs, while ADA ramp work continues on 88th Street NE. Paving is expected to take place during the first week of October, lasting 2-3 days, and no night work is planned.

Completion of the project is projected for late October. Pedestrian access will remain open throughout the construction, ensuring safety for foot traffic. Residents are advised to plan for delays and consider alternate routes during the construction period.
