67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE commences August 12, with Bayshore Construction replacing pedestrian ADA ramps and conducting street repairs. The project will fully close the southbound lane initially while maintaining one lane open in each direction for traffic. Residents on the west side of 67th Avenue NE will have access, but through traffic should expect delays and consider alternate routes. In mid-September, grinding will occur in the northbound lanes, necessitating the closure of that lane and continuing ADA ramp work on the west side of 88th Street NE. Paving operations are slated for the first week of October, with an estimated duration of 2-3 days.

The construction is designed to enhance safety and accessibility for pedestrians. The project is expected to be completed by late October, with no night work planned. These improvements aim to promote better traffic flow and safer pedestrian pathways in the area.
