67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE in Marysville will commence on August 12, led by Bayshore Construction, to improve accessibility and roadway conditions. The project will replace pedestrian ADA ramps and resurface the roadway, with the southbound lane fully closed during the initial phase. Residents in neighborhoods on the west side will retain access, while through traffic should anticipate delays and seek alternate routes. Mid-September will see the closure of the northbound lane as grinding and pavement repairs take place. The city emphasizes maintaining pedestrian access throughout the construction period.

Paving is expected in the first week of October, lasting 2-3 days, with no nighttime work planned. This initiative reflects the city's commitment to enhancing public infrastructure and safety. The project is projected to conclude by late October, benefiting local residents and commuters.
