67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Marysville's construction on 67th Avenue NE begins on August 12, targeting improvements between Grove Street and 88th Street. Bayshore Construction will replace ADA ramps, repair streets, and overlay the roadway with new pavement. The initial phase will close the southbound lane for ADA ramp demolition, but one lane will remain open in each direction, ensuring access for west-side neighborhoods. Pedestrian access will also be maintained. By mid-September, grinding will occur in the center and northbound lanes, necessitating the closure of the northbound lane for further ADA ramp work.

Paving is planned for the first week of October, expected to take 2-3 days, without any night shifts. The project aims for a completion date in late October, prompting residents to consider alternate routes to avoid delays. This construction reflects the city's commitment to improving infrastructure and accessibility for all residents.
