Marlene Elaine Stadler, a beloved Lynnwood resident, passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on September 5, 1934, Marlene grew up in Marysville and graduated from Marysville High School in 1952. She married Karl Stadler in 1954, and they spent decades contributing to their community, including her role in the Alderwood Manor Fire Department Women's Auxiliary. Marlene was also a founding member of the Camano Island Quilters, where she gained recognition for her quilting artistry. In 1999, she was featured at their annual quilt show, showcasing her dedication to the craft with over 80 hand-made quilts.

Marlene's family includes her husband, two children, and several grandchildren, who fondly remember her as "Beans. " A celebration of her life is scheduled for June 28 at the Ryan home, where friends and family can gather to honor her legacy. Donations in her name can be made to the South County Firefighter Foundation, reflecting her commitment to community service.
