The Building Bridges Summit 2. 0 will occur on June 26, from 6 to 7:30 p. m. , at WSU Everett, organized by the Building Bridges Project. Co-founded by Councilmembers Jared Mead and Nate Nehring, the initiative aims to foster dialogue among diverse community members.

The summit, themed "Conversations That Connect Us," will feature a live panel moderated by Jesse Jones and include students from Jackson High School, highlighting the importance of structured dialogue. This gathering builds on last year's inaugural summit and expands the conversation to new voices. The event also marks the conclusion of the Future Leaders Academy, where nearly 50 seniors engaged in community service and discussions. Mead noted the event's role in creating leaders who lead with curiosity and care. Wendy Poischbeg from the Greater Everett Chamber of Commerce highlighted the summit as a model for civic engagement through dialogue.

The Building Bridges Project is a nonprofit focused on empowering communities through respectful conversation.
