Sponsor spotlight AI For Everyone returns to Edmonds College June 28
Edmonds College will host its third annual AI For Everyone Day on June 28, from 9:30 a. m. to 1:30 p. m. at Hazel Miller Hall in Lynnwood.
This free event aims to demystify artificial intelligence and provide community members with practical insights into its applications. Attendees can participate in interactive workshops and expert talks, as well as hands-on AI labs, regardless of their technical background. Dr. Carey Schroyer, Dean of STEM, emphasized the college's commitment to making AI accessible to everyone. Workshops will cover essential skills, moral considerations, and recognizing deepfakes, while activities include coding a robot and exploring popular AI tools.
The event promotes community engagement and networking among participants passionate about AI. Parking will be available in designated lots, and no pre-registration is required. By focusing on practical applications, the event seeks to empower community members to harness AI's transformative potential.
