Lynnwood High School was placed on lockdown Wednesday morning following a road rage incident that resulted in the arrest of a 16-year-old student. According to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred shortly before 7:30 a. m. , when a victim reported that a female driver had brandished a firearm during a confrontation on North Road. The suspect then entered the school parking lot, prompting immediate action from deputies who detained her for questioning.

Authorities discovered what appeared to be parts of an assault rifle located in the suspect's vehicle, raising concerns about the potential threat. Fortunately, the lockdown was precautionary, and officials confirmed that there was no danger to students or staff during the incident. The suspect's car and backpack were taken into custody as evidence, and a search warrant is pending approval for further investigation. The sheriff's office is continuing its inquiry into the incident, emphasizing the importance of safety in the community.
