Top Edmonds School District prep sports stories for 2024-25

The Edmonds School District marked the end of the 2024-2025 school year with remarkable achievements in prep sports across its four high schools. Edmonds-Woodway's boys basketball team, led by first-year coach Tyler Geving, finished second in the 3A state tournament, the highest for any Edmonds-based boys team. Star player Cam Hiatt's impressive average of 21. 8 points per game earned him accolades, and he will join Dartmouth College this fall. Mountlake Terrace's girls track team also excelled, winning the prestigious Eason Invitational and placing eighth at the WIAA state meet, their best finish since 2016.
