Ranked-choice voting to be explored during Nov. 20 meeting in Everett

FairVote Washington and Snohomish Indivisible will conduct a meeting on ranked-choice voting on Nov. 20 at Everett Station. The event invites community members to learn about the ranked-choice voting process and engage with recently elected officials. Participants will practice ranked-choice voting while discussing important revisions to the Snohomish County Charter. A demonstration election will illustrate how election reform can improve civic engagement and ensure that more voices are heard in local politics.

The meeting is scheduled from 6:15 p. m. to 9 p. m. , allowing time for social interaction and refreshments before the formal presentation begins at 7 p.
