Meadowdale High School Class of 2025 Take chances and let your moments happen

Meadowdale High School honored 330 graduates from the Class of 2025 during a ceremony on Saturday. Valedictorian Harper Wright emphasized the class's unique journey of completing all four years in-person after the pandemic, stating, "the pandemic should not define who we are. " Fellow valedictorian Ruhne Wendt encouraged students to embrace the fleeting nature of time and to live fully in each moment. Student speaker Issac Fortin shared his insights on personal growth, noting the transformation since their first homecoming. Staff speaker Troy Parker inspired graduates to fill their life stories with meaningful experiences.

The ceremony acknowledged 11 students who achieved a perfect 4. 0 GPA and nine who earned associate degrees alongside their diplomas. Additionally, 24 students received the Washington State Seal of Biliteracy for proficiency in multiple languages. Hector Ramirez-Lopez was posthumously awarded a diploma, honoring his contributions to the school community.
