Edmonds Mayor Mike Rosen declared June 7 as Northwest Neighbors Network Day, emphasizing the organization's mission to empower seniors and adults with disabilities. Board president Mahyar Rahbarrad highlighted that many volunteers are seniors themselves, creating meaningful connections through service. NNN provides a variety of services, including transportation, home maintenance, and technology assistance, all coordinated by a dedicated Service Coordination Team. The organization envisions an inclusive community where older adults feel supported and valued.

NNN also organizes social events and educational opportunities to encourage healthy, independent living. Currently, the network is seeking volunteers aged 18 and older for various roles. Interested individuals can visit NorthwestNeighborsNetwork. org for more information.
