Big changes coming for Edmonds Arnies Restaurant building

The Port of Edmonds has sold The Landing building to 1010 Development, which plans to create a boutique hotel and wellness spa. Ryan Appleby, who leads the development firm, has deep roots in the community and aims to enhance public spaces. Construction is anticipated to commence in 2029, with existing tenants, including Arnie’s restaurant, remaining until then. The new hotel will feature amenities such as a coffee bar and sauna services, catering to both visitors and local residents. Economic Development Director Brittany Williams highlighted the project's potential for revitalizing the waterfront.

The Port's decision was influenced by a desire for durable and community-focused development. The sale aligns with the Port’s upcoming master planning process scheduled for 2026. Ultimately, the project aims to promote economic growth while adhering to environmental values.
