Snohomish County Health Department Director Dennis Worsham appointed as states new Secretary of Health

His leadership includes roles as Deputy Secretary for Health and Interim Director of Public Health for Seattle & King County during the COVID-19 pandemic. Worsham has implemented significant initiatives at the Snohomish County Health Department, such as the Health on Wheels van and a reopened STI clinic. County Executive Dave Somers commended Worsham for his commitment to equity and community health.

Worsham aims to create a public health system that is resilient and just, focusing on prevention and addressing health inequities.
