A 63-year-old registered sex offender from Bremerton was arrested in Lynnwood for an alleged felony sexual assault against an employee of a massage business in Edmonds. The investigation, conducted by the Edmonds Police Department's Problem Solving Emphasis Team, lasted nearly two weeks and involved surveillance of the suspect. Officer Hui Xing played a crucial role by communicating with the victim in Chinese, which helped uncover essential details about the assault. The suspect faces a charge of indecent liberties, relating to sexual contact by forcible compulsion, and has since been released on a $100,000 bond.
