Homage Senior Services celebrates community impact with Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon
Homage Senior Services honored its volunteers during the annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, which serves over 25,000 older adults and individuals with disabilities in Snohomish County annually. Volunteer Manager Michelle Frye highlighted the essential role volunteers play in fostering health, independence, and emotional well-being. Opportunities available include senior peer counseling, Meals on Wheels, and multilingual support for diverse community groups. Frye also thanked Liberty Mutual volunteers for their ongoing commitment to helping serve lunch to over 120 honorees at the event. Volunteer roles are designed to accommodate various schedules, appealing to those who want to make a difference, whether for a few hours or on a regular basis.
This celebration reflects the organization's commitment to community service and the significant impact volunteers make in the lives of local residents. The event also reinforces the need for continued volunteer engagement to support vulnerable populations. By fostering a culture of service, Homage empowers community members to thrive at home and in their neighborhoods.
