The My Neighborhood News Network has formed a partnership with the House of Wisdom, a Lynnwood nonprofit dedicated to supporting immigrant students. This collaboration will feature a student and tutor each month, highlighting their academic progress and aspirations. For May 2025, Omar, a dedicated Kamiak High School student who enjoys soccer, and Jazmine, a middle school student passionate about writing, were named students of the month. John, a Bellevue College student majoring in applied accounting, and Jasmin, a UW Seattle student aspiring to study law, were recognized as tutors of the month. Both tutors have shown commitment and skill in supporting students, enhancing their learning experiences.

The initiative aims to foster community engagement and support for local immigrant youth. By showcasing these individuals, the program hopes to inspire others and promote the importance of education. The House of Wisdom continues to play a crucial role in the academic and personal growth of its students.
