Dozens gathered at Brigid’s Bottleshop on Wednesday for the Ales for the Arts Concert Crawl, featuring jazz ensembles from Lynnwood High School and College Place Middle School. The event included performances by Lynnwood HS Jazz I, College Place MS Jazz Band, and Edmonds Woodway HS combo. It aims to raise funds and awareness regarding budget cuts impacting music and arts programs in the Edmonds School District, which has faced financial challenges in recent years. Local businesses, including Epulo Food Truck, Spud Fish and Chips, and Thai By Day, will contribute a portion of their sales to arts education when patrons mention “Save the Arts. ” The next concert crawl is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, from noon to 9 p.
