Lynnwood, WALocal News

Around the Table Game Pub in Lynnwood is launching its Summer Ice Cream Contest, inviting local residents to submit inventive flavor ideas. Participants have until May 27 to enter, and Olympic Mountain Ice Cream will create flavors from the 12 most compelling submissions. Past winning flavors have included fruity and floral combinations, though participants should avoid bizarre ideas like cat food ice cream. Co-owner Nick Coelho expressed a commitment to community involvement, stating, “We wanted to involve the neighborhood in any way we could. ” The contest, which has been held annually since 2016, aims to engage customers and support local businesses.

The first four flavors to sell out will identify the winners, who will receive a $50 store credit. This initiative not only fosters creativity but also strengthens local business collaborations. Contest participation represents a unique opportunity for residents to influence local cuisine while enjoying community spirit.
