Edmonds School District to host free vaccine clinic May 16

Lynnwood, WALocal News

On May 16, the Edmonds School District will host a free vaccine clinic from 1-6 p. m. at the Verdant building in Lynnwood. The clinic will offer both COVID-19 vaccines and routine childhood immunizations for individuals older than six months. Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins will be accepted depending on vaccine availability.

Adults aged 19 and older will need to present their insurance information, while uninsured individuals can receive vaccinations at no cost. Notably, those with Kaiser or TRICARE insurance cannot be vaccinated due to out-of-network status. The Washington Department of Health’s “Care-a-Van” mobile health services will administer the vaccines. This event is part of ongoing efforts to enhance community health and vaccination rates. Local health officials emphasize the importance of accessible vaccinations in combating COVID-19 and maintaining public health.
