Edmonds 5th annual Move4Mona Walk raises 20,000

Over 50 people gathered for the 5th annual Move4Mona 5K Walk in Edmonds, raising over $20,000 for the Mona Foundation, which focuses on education and empowerment. Founded in 1999, the foundation has partnered with 41 organizations across four continents, helping more than five million students. This year, the event took place in eight countries and 60 cities across the U. S. and Canada, highlighting its expanding influence.

Shiva Riddell, founder of the Edmonds walk, noted that the event celebrates movement, unity, and generosity, encouraging participation from anyone, anywhere. Special guests included consular representatives from Japan and Korea, emphasizing the event's global impact. Riddell commended the local leadership team for their commitment to the cause. The Mona Foundation advocates for the oneness of humanity, believing everyone has the right to participate in community development. Donations to the foundation continue to increase, reflecting the event's success and community support.
