Paine Field's Community Day on May 17 will run from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. , featuring an array of aviation-related activities.

Children aged 8-17 can book free airplane rides ahead of time, encouraging youth engagement in aviation. Local organizations and educational institutions will showcase aviation programs for older teens and students. Attendees can inspect unique aircraft, including the U. S. Navy EA-18G Growler and the ZeroAvia HyperTruck, and view special equipment from the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum.

Local food vendors will enhance the event's festive atmosphere, promoting community support. The event aims to foster interest in aviation and provide hands-on experiences for all ages. Off-site parking is available with free shuttle services at 9801 27th Ave. W, Everett. This initiative builds on last year's inaugural event, aiming to strengthen community ties through aviation.
