Lynnwood, WALocal News

South County Fire invites families to its Teddy Bear Clinic at Hilltop Fire Station on May 17, a free event aimed at promoting child safety. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet firefighters and tour a fire engine. The clinic will educate participants on critical safety topics, including proper car seat usage and hands-only CPR techniques. In addition, free window locks will be provided to help prevent window falls, supplied through grant funding. This initiative underscores South County Fire's dedication to serving nearly 300,000 residents across southwest Snohomish County.

The Hilltop Fire Station is one of 15 neighborhood stations collaborating to enhance community safety. The event reflects a broader effort to engage residents in fire safety education and preparedness. Families are encouraged to bring their own stuffed animals for the clinic, making it a fun and educational day for children.
