An attempted abduction case is under investigation by Lynnwood police after a disturbing incident on a public trail. On Monday afternoon, three boys were riding their bikes behind the Lynnwood Golf Course when a man allegedly grabbed one boy's wrist. The boy quickly pulled away and rode off, escaping without further confrontation, as the man did not attempt to pull him off his bike or engage in conversation. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, approximately 45-50 years old, last seen wearing a black puffy jacket and black jeans. Following the incident, police have ramped up patrols in the vicinity of College Place Elementary and Middle School to ensure community safety.

Authorities emphasize the importance of vigilance among residents and encourage reporting any suspicious activity. This case highlights ongoing concerns about child safety in public spaces. Community members are urged to remain alert and proactive in safeguarding their children.
