The House of Wisdom is actively recruiting volunteers to join its tutoring network for underserved students in the Edmonds School District. Established in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the nonprofit has grown significantly, expanding from 20 immigrant students to over 150 in its programs. Volunteers can engage in tutoring subjects such as English, math, and science, with flexible scheduling that accommodates various commitments. Ahmad Hilal Abid, the organization's Founder and President, highlights the importance of volunteers, stating that they are the "heartbeat" of the mission, empowering the next generation of leaders. In addition to tutoring, volunteers receive training and mentorship, equipping them to make a substantial difference in their communities.

All volunteer hours are eligible for service learning and community service credits, providing added value. For those interested in contributing to this vital cause, further information and sign-up details are available via email or phone. This initiative not only supports students but also fosters a sense of community and leadership development.
