House of Wisdom seeks volunteer tutors for elementary, middle school students

The House of Wisdom is actively recruiting volunteers to join its tutoring network for underserved students in the Edmonds School District. Established in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the nonprofit has grown significantly, expanding from 20 immigrant students to over 150 in its programs. Volunteers can engage in tutoring subjects such as English, math, and science, with flexible scheduling that accommodates various commitments. Ahmad Hilal Abid, the organization's Founder and President, highlights the importance of volunteers, stating that they are the "heartbeat" of the mission, empowering the next generation of leaders.
