Sponsor spotlight Gallery Norths featured exhibit for April

Lynnwood, WALocal News

Gallery North is excited to announce its Featured Exhibit for April 2025, highlighting the work of member artist Leanna Leitzke in "Connections through Art. " With a passion for painting that ignited at the age of three, Leanna attributes much of her artistic development to her mother's unwavering support. She notes that many art teachers impose rules that can stifle creativity, which is why she chose to be self-taught. Her delightful and colorful paintings have garnered awards in numerous juried exhibits and have found homes in cities like Paris and London. Leanna's urgency to express her artistic vision is evident as she states, “The clock is ticking, I’m in a hurry!

All my most beautiful paintings are yet to come. ” The exhibit runs from April 1-30, and art enthusiasts can meet Leanna at the Third Thursday ArtWalk on April 17th from 5-8 pm. Gallery North, a staple in downtown Edmonds for over 60 years, remains dedicated to promoting and selling local art. For more information, visitors can check their website or call the gallery directly.
