Celebrate Earth Day at PUDs Energy Block Party April 26

The Snohomish Public Utility District is set to celebrate the 55th annual Earth Day with an engaging Energy Block Party on April 26. This event promises to be a highlight for families, featuring a Truckstravaganza where children can interact with lineworkers and explore an array of trucks, including bucket and digger trucks. For those interested in electric vehicles, an EV car show will provide firsthand insights from local owners. Educational opportunities abound with two presentations focused on energy efficiency and solar solutions, each accommodating 300 attendees and offering door prizes. The “Show Me the Money!

” session will run from 10:30 to 11:45 a. m. , teaching homeowners how to utilize current incentives for energy improvements. Following this, “Empowering Homes” will delve into solar and battery solutions from 12:30 to 1:30 p. m.

Attendees can also visit numerous booths for free giveaways and engage with PUD representatives. With a lineup of food trucks, including popular local options, the event is designed to be informative and fun for the entire community.
