Ken Jennings, the beloved host of Jeopardy! and an Edmonds native, is collaborating with Community Transit for an exciting new initiative called “The Transit Effect. ” This seven-part video series aims to showcase the essential role of public transit in local communities and how it serves as a catalyst for economic and cultural growth. Jennings, a self-proclaimed transit enthusiast, fondly recalls his experiences commuting between the University of Washington and Snohomish County using Community Transit buses. Each episode will explore different aspects of public transit, including its economic benefits and contributions to building healthier communities.

The series will feature Jennings’ signature wit and authenticity, making the information accessible and engaging for viewers. The first video will soon be available, with additional episodes slated for release every couple of months through 2026.
