Brier Terrace Middle School students bring home awards from Spokane conference

Brier Terrace Middle School's STEM students shone brightly at the 2025 Washington Technology Student Association Conference in Spokane, returning with multiple prestigious awards. The conference, which ran from April 2-5 and featured 2,800 competitors across 84 events, highlighted the school’s exceptional commitment to STEM education. Out of 22 Brier Terrace students who participated in 13 events, an impressive 16 students placed in the top five, demonstrating their skills and knowledge in various technological disciplines. First-place accolades were awarded to standout teams in areas such as career preparation and biotechnology, while structural engineering also showcased remarkable talent with multiple top finishes. This event not only celebrates the students' achievements but also emphasizes the growing significance of STEM fields in education.
