Mountlake Terrace High Robotics team headed to World Championships

The Chill Out robotics team from Mountlake Terrace High School is set to compete at the FIRST Championships in Houston, Texas, from April 16-19, marking their third consecutive year in this prestigious event. With an impressive record of 46 wins and only 7 losses, the team has excelled this season, earning accolades such as two District Event Winner blue banners and the Innovation in Control Award. Ranked 14th worldwide among nearly 3,700 teams, Chill Out stands out not just for their engineering prowess but also for their commitment to community involvement. They will be competing against 600 teams from across the globe, including 22 from the Pacific Northwest, fostering a spirit of collaboration and competition.
