Prep baseball Warriors get back to winning ways with 10-1 victory over Monroe

The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors rebounded from a challenging week with an impressive 10-1 victory against the Monroe Bearcats in a Wesco League non-conference baseball game. The Warriors, who had faced three losses in their last four games, exhibited strong pitching and an aggressive offensive strategy, scoring five runs in the second inning alone. Junior Aksel Forseth played a pivotal role in the game, driving in three runs and showcasing his versatility by playing multiple positions. Coach Dan Somoza expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance, emphasizing the importance of every player's contribution to building morale. Will Alseth earned the winning pitcher title with three innings of scoreless work, supported by a team effort on the mound.

This victory elevates the Warriors' record to 7-4 overall, keeping them at the top of the Wesco South Conference standings.
