Sound Transit seeks public feedback on first phase of 2026 Service Plan

Lynnwood, WALocal News

Sound Transit is engaging the public in its 2026 Service Plan, focusing on potential modifications to ST Express routes that will better connect with the forthcoming Link light rail service. By the end of 2026, Link light rail is expected to expand its reach to areas currently served by buses. The first phase of public engagement runs from April 7-21, 2025, featuring a survey designed to capture rider preferences and priorities. Feedback gathered during this initial phase will be instrumental in shaping the proposals that will be presented in the subsequent Phase Two, anticipated to launch in June 2025. In Phase Two, riders will have the opportunity to provide further insights through a detailed survey with route-specific questions.

The initiative underscores Sound Transit’s commitment to enhancing the transit experience and maximizing the benefits of new service. Public participation is encouraged, with the survey available in multiple languages, promoting inclusivity among diverse communities. Interested individuals can find more information and access the survey on Sound Transit’s dedicated website.
