Human Skull Found in Lynnwood Sparks Investigation for Identification

The discovery of a human skull at Scriber Lake Park in Lynnwood, Washington, has sparked an investigation by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office. Found on March 24, 2024, the skull is believed to belong to a Black man who is estimated to be over 25 years old. In an effort to identify the remains, the MEO has released a photo of what the man might look like. Unfortunately, details regarding his height and weight remain elusive, and investigators estimate that he has been dead for at least one year. The cause and manner of death are still under investigation, leaving many questions unanswered.

Local authorities are appealing to the community for any information that may aid in identification and understanding of the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
