This funding comes after a successful 2024, where over $1 million was distributed to nonprofits in the area. Key recipients include food banks like Concern for Neighbors and Edmonds Food Bank, which are essential in providing fresh food to families in need. The foundation also supports the Edmonds College Foundation's scholarship program, which aids over 140 students each year, highlighting its commitment to education and opportunity. Board Chair Shannon Burley noted that the foundation continues to uphold Hazel Miller's vision of supporting all of South Snohomish County.

Additionally, grants were awarded to organizations like Homage Senior Services for its Meals on Wheels program and PorchFest Edmonds to foster community connection through music. The foundation’s focus on diverse community needs demonstrates its dedication to improving the lives of residents in the region.
