At the 2025 U. S. National Amateur DanceSport Championships, Felix Sindora, a 13-year-old from College Place Middle School, excelled by placing fifth in the National Junior Rhythm Championship. Competing with 10-year-old Stefaniia Chudova, the duo impressed judges with their performances in various dance styles, including cha-cha, American rumba, and swing. Felix's journey into dance began at age six, sparked by witnessing his father perform, which led to a deep passion for the art.

Under the guidance of coach Katia Zakharoff at NIKA International Academy of Dancesport, he has developed skills in both Latin and ballroom dance styles. Recently, Felix shifted his focus to Latin training, enhancing his competitive edge in rhythm events. His mother highlighted the challenges of maintaining stamina through five consecutive dances, each lasting approximately 90 seconds. This accomplishment is not only a personal milestone for Felix but also underscores the growing talent in the local dance community. The event marks a significant step in his dance career, showcasing the dedication and hard work invested in his craft.
