Edmonds-Woodways Hiatt selected for two high school all-star games

After Edmonds-Woodway's defeat in the WIAA 3A boys state championship, senior Cam Hiatt initially thought his high school basketball career had ended. However, he has been invited to participate in two upcoming all-star games, reigniting his excitement for the sport. Hiatt will represent Washington in the WIBCA All-Star Weekend on March 22, playing for the 3A team against the 4A squad. Additionally, he has been selected for the Northwest Shootout on April 13, where he will face a team of Oregon all-star seniors. This recognition comes after a stellar season where Hiatt led the Warriors to a remarkable 25-3 record and their best-ever finish in the state tournament.

He will be joined by fellow all-stars from the Rainier Beach Vikings, who recently defeated his team for the state title. As he prepares for these final high school competitions, Hiatt is also gearing up for his collegiate career at Dartmouth College, where he will play for the Big Green men's basketball team. His journey exemplifies the dedication and talent that high school athletes bring to the court.
