Edmonds School District wrestlers compete at Mat Classic

At the Mat Classic, Washington's elite high school wrestling tournament, Edmonds School District wrestlers delivered outstanding performances, particularly Edmonds Woodway, which finished fifth in the boys' division. The tournament's expansion to three days reflects the sport's increasing popularity, with significant changes made to the girls' competition structure as well. After the first day, Edmonds Woodway celebrated three athletes still in contention for top honors, while others battled in the consolation bracket. Lynnwood, Meadowdale, and Mountlake Terrace also had representation, with two wrestlers each competing for placement.
