The Edmonds Arts Festival has announced its Call for Artists for the 68th annual event, which will take place from June 13-15 at the Frances Anderson Center. Applications for the juried Gallery Arts portion are open from February 15 to April 29, with submissions accepted for three distinct galleries: the Small Works Marketplace, the Photography and Digital Arts Gallery, and the Main Gallery. Notably, this year marks the introduction of separate awards for miniatures and small paintings, reflecting the growing interest in these categories. To participate, artists must carefully review the specific prospectus for each call, upload their artwork images, and select the appropriate entry category. This festival is a pivotal event in the Northwest art community, drawing over 30,000 visitors and showcasing the works of more than 400 regional artists.

Each artwork purchased not only enhances the local art scene but also contributes to funding scholarships and community art projects. The Edmonds Arts Festival stands out as Washington State’s first Certified Creative District, highlighting the importance of the arts in the region.
