Lynnwood, WALocal News

Link light rail will be temporarily suspended between Capitol Hill and SODO stations from 10 p. m. on February 14 to February 16 for crucial systems integration testing on control signals for future train operations. During this period, Sound Transit will provide shuttle buses stopping at all stations between Capitol Hill and SODO, running approximately every 10-15 minutes. Passengers traveling southbound must transfer to the shuttle at SODO, while those heading north will need to exit at SODO and reconnect at Capitol Hill.

Regular operations are set to resume on February 17. Furthermore, Sound Transit has scheduled additional service disruptions for February 23 and from February 28 to March 1 to enhance system resiliency and prepare for the upcoming 2 Line opening later this year. The agency is committed to accommodating all riders, including seniors and those with disabilities, during these service interruptions. A language line is available for translation assistance to support limited English proficiency individuals. Riders are encouraged to sign up for automatic service alerts to stay informed about any changes.
