Man, 24, killed in Lynnwood shed fire identified

A tragic shed fire occurred on December 2, 2024, in Lynnwood, claiming the life of 24-year-old Lukas Goodman. Firefighters received a call shortly after 8 a. m. and arrived to find a shed, which was being used as a residence, fully engulfed in flames. A resident attempted to put out the fire with a garden hose but was unsuccessful.

Fire crews acted quickly, preventing the fire from spreading to a nearby home and extinguishing it within five minutes. Unfortunately, Goodman was found deceased inside the shed. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office is currently investigating the cause and manner of his death. Authorities are working to determine the fire's origin, which is not being treated as suspicious. This incident serves as a reminder of the dangers associated with residential fires, especially in makeshift living situations.
