Lombardis Italian Restaurant in Mill Creek to close

Lynnwood, WALocal News

Lombardi's Italian Restaurant in Mill Creek will officially close on August 24, ending a cherished community dining experience that has lasted 12 years. Founder Diane Symms and CEO Kerri Lonergan-Dreke announced the closure following the sale of the property on Bothell Everett Highway, stating that high lease rates and increasing operating costs made it unfeasible to remain. Symms expressed heartfelt thanks to the Mill Creek and North Bothell communities for their support, emphasizing that many customers became long-term friends. Patrons are encouraged to visit and savor their favorite Lombardi's dishes one last time. Meanwhile, the Everett and Bellingham locations will remain open, and the Lombardi's Restaurant Group is expanding with the new Hook & Cleaver seafood and steakhouse in Mukilteo, following the closure of Arnie's.
