Edmonds College is set to launch two new four-year degree programs in computer science and robotics and artificial intelligence this fall, marking a significant expansion of its academic offerings. President Amit Singh expressed pride in introducing the college's first bachelor of science program and its fifth bachelor of applied science degree. Serving approximately 15,000 students annually, the college currently offers a variety of educational pathways, including associate degrees and professional certificates. The new programs aim to prepare students for careers in rapidly evolving sectors that demand high levels of expertise. Department head Allison Obourn emphasized the focus on foundational concepts and problem-solving skills to ensure students are well-prepared for future challenges.

The robotics and AI program will emphasize hands-on learning, integrating cutting-edge technologies to enhance educational outcomes.
