** Lynnwood police seek 3 suspects after pursuit, brief shootout

Lynnwood authorities are actively seeking multiple suspects involved in a serious incident that escalated to gunfire in a Target parking lot. The event occurred on Sunday evening when police were investigating a theft and observed a stolen Hyundai deliberately targeting two teenagers. The vehicle struck a 15-year-old boy, resulting in minor injuries before fleeing. Officers initiated a pursuit that led onto the south ramp of Interstate 5, where they attempted to stop the vehicle using a PIT maneuver. The suspects exited the car and fled on foot, firing shots at the police, who returned fire; fortunately, no officers were injured.

Lynnwood police are currently searching for three suspects, who are believed to have been picked up by another vehicle shortly after the chase.
