Caniacs in Lynnwood have exciting news as Raising Cane's, a Southern fast-food chain renowned for its chicken fingers, is preparing to open a new location. The company has secured a lease in Lynnwood, although a specific timeline for construction or opening has yet to be announced, with estimates suggesting it could take up to two years. In the meantime, fans will need to travel to Portland to enjoy their favorite chicken fingers. Alongside Lynnwood, Raising Cane's is also planning locations in Renton and Seattle, indicating a strategic expansion in the Washington market. With approximately 750 restaurants across more than 40 states, the chain has established a significant presence, particularly in Texas, where nearly 200 locations are situated.

The first Raising Cane's opened in Louisiana in 1996, founded by Todd Graves, who named the restaurant after his dog. Their menu is famously simple, focusing primarily on chicken fingers, with the motto 'One Love.
