Everett motorcyclist dies on Highway 99

A devastating accident occurred on Tuesday evening on Highway 99, leading to the death of 27-year-old motorcyclist Alexis Hernandez Cerritos from Everett. The Washington State Patrol reported that the incident took place around 8:30 p. m. when an unknown vehicle made a left turn directly in front of him. In an attempt to avoid a collision, Hernandez Cerritos overcorrected, causing him to lose control of his motorcycle.

Emergency responders arrived promptly, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. This tragic event serves as a poignant reminder of the hazards that motorcyclists frequently encounter on the road, particularly at intersections.
