Boy, 15, stabbed after fight on bus north of Lynnwood

On a Tuesday afternoon in Lynnwood, Washington, a violent confrontation resulted in the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy. The altercation began on a bus when a 32-year-old man got into a dispute with the bus driver. Two teenagers intervened, prompting the man to exit the bus with them and continue the confrontation in a nearby parking lot. There, he allegedly stabbed one of the teenagers before fleeing. The victim was found with a stab wound and taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for treatment.

Authorities quickly apprehended the suspect, who is facing first-degree assault charges and other assault-related charges. This incident underscores serious concerns about the safety of public transit systems and the potential for violence in such environments, prompting community leaders and law enforcement to address these issues.
