Washington State Ferries to host online meetings Sept. 24-25

Lynnwood, WALocal News

Washington State Ferries (WSF) is organizing two virtual public meetings scheduled for September 24 and 25, aiming to address community concerns regarding summer travel, crewing, and service reliability. These meetings will include a Q&A session with WSF directors and decision-makers, allowing attendees to engage directly with officials. Registration is required for participants, ensuring they can choose the meeting that best fits their availability. This initiative is particularly important as it provides an avenue for residents to voice their concerns and seek clarity on ferry services. To accommodate those without broadband access, WSF is also offering free temporary internet access at various locations throughout the state.

This effort underscores WSF's commitment to community engagement and transparency in its operations. After each meeting, video recordings will be accessible on WSF’s community participation page, expanding the reach of the information shared. This proactive approach ensures that all interested parties have the opportunity to stay informed and engaged.
