17-year-old lured out of apartment and stabbed in Lynnwood

A 17-year-old male suffered life-threatening injuries after being lured out of his Lynnwood apartment and stabbed by an acquaintance on Sunday at 3:13 p. m. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reported that the suspect fled into a wooded area, discarding the knife used in the attack. Police arrested an 18-year-old male suspect, charging him with first-degree assault, while a 19-year-old female suspect faces first-degree domestic assault charges. Emergency responders transported the victim to Providence Regional Medical Center for urgent medical care.

Authorities indicated that all individuals involved have prior connections, highlighting potential issues surrounding youth violence. The incident has raised alarm among local residents regarding safety and the influence of peer relationships. Lynnwood officials may need to address these growing concerns through community outreach and violence prevention programs.
