LETI partners with Waterfront Center to celebrate Da de los Muertos

The Edmonds Waterfront Center and the Latino Educational Training Institute organized a vibrant Día de los Muertos festival, welcoming over 250 attendees. Participants honored their deceased loved ones by leaving mementos and photos at traditional altars. The event featured lively mariachi music from Mariachi Mexico Lindo and captivating performances by Grupo Cultural de Danze Mexican de LETI. Children enjoyed creating Día de los Muertos-themed art in a dedicated activity room. Many attendees arrived in traditional costumes, reflecting the holiday's celebratory essence.

This festival plays a crucial role in preserving and promoting cultural traditions within the Lynnwood community. Día de los Muertos is celebrated annually to honor those who have passed, bringing families together in remembrance.
