Founded by Cindy Shea in 1999, the group has won two Grammy Awards and garnered eight nominations throughout their career. The concert will kick off with a free Pre-Show Talk led by Shea, focusing on the ensemble's contributions to the genre and the art of mariachi. The Divas will be joined on stage for the final song by Mount Vernon Mariachi & Folklorico, which boasts nearly 200 student performers celebrating Mexican culture. Attendees can also enjoy a special offer at Las Brisas Mexican Restaurant, receiving a complimentary dessert with their entrée when presenting their concert ticket.

The performance underscores the significance of female representation in mariachi, a field traditionally dominated by men.
